شَادِخٌ A child that is soft, or tender; as also شَدَخٌ : or غُلَامٌ شَادِخٌ signifies a youth: accord. to IAar, a boy is called جَفْرٌ; then, يَافِعٌ; then, شَدَخٌ ; then, مُطَبِّخٌ; and then, كَوْكَبٌ. (TA. [See also مُطَبِّخٌ.])
