شَبِيعٌ

Full Definition

شَبِيعٌ Food that satiates, sates, or satisfies the stomach.
2 An arrow that kills much or many or often.
3 ثَوْبٌ شَبِيعُ الغَزْلِ A garment, or piece of cloth, [of full texture, or] of many threads: pl. ثِيَابٌ شُبْعٌ. And حَبْلٌ شَبِيعٌ, or شَبِيعُ الثَّلَّةِ, A rope abundant, and firm, or strong, in the wool, or in the hair, or fur, [of which it is composed:] pl. شُبْعٌ.
4 رَجُلٌ شَبِيعُ العَقْلِ A man full, or perfect, and strong, or solid, in intellect; from IAar; as also . And رَجُلٌ مُشَبَّعٌ القَلْبِ [or perhaps القَلْبِ] A man strong, or firm, in heart.
