شِجْنَةٌ

2 Also, i. e. with kesr, or شَجَنٌ and شَجَنَةٌ , A branchlet of a bunch of a grape-vine of which all the grapes come to maturity.
3 شِجْنَةٌ signifies also Relationship closely, or intimately, connected. One says, بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَهُ شِجْنَةُ رَحِمٍ, and رَحِمٍ, Between me and him is a relationship closely, or intimately, connected. And it is said in a trad., الرَّحِمُ شِجْنَةٌ مِنَ ٱللّٰهِ i. e. الرَّحِمُ
