عَرُبَI , [Present.T ـُ] Verbal.Noun عُرُوبَةٌ, His tongue [or speech] was, or became, Arabic, or chaste Arabic.

def.2 عَرِبَ, Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun عَرَبٌ, He became disordered in the stomach by indigestion. And عَرِبَتْ مَعِدَتُهُ, Verbal.Noun as above, His stomach became in a corrupt, or disordered, state, from being burdened.
2 Also, Verbal.Noun as above, said of a camel's hump, It became swollen and purulent.
3 And, said of a wound, It became corrupt: or it broke open again; or became recrudescent: or it had a scar remaining after it had healed.
4 Said of a river, It abounded with water. And عَرِبَتِ البِئْرُ The well contained much water; or its water became abundant.
5 And, Verbal.Noun عَرَبٌ and عَرَابَةٌ, said of a man, He was, or became, brisk, lively, or sprightly.
