Full Definition

عَكَّارٌ One who returns to the fight after fleeing or wheeling away. It is said in a trad., أَنْتُمُ العَكَّارُونَ لَا الفَرَّارُونَ Ye are they who return to the fight; not they who flee. And عَطَّافُونَ signifies the like.
