عَلَاقِيَةٌ
A man who, when he clings to a thing, will not quit it. [See also عَلِقٌ.]
2 And نَفْسٌ عَلَاقِيَةٌ and عَلِقْنَةٌ A devoted, or an attacked, soul; one that clings to a thing persistently.
