عُلْعُولٌ Continual evil or mischief; and commotion, or tumult; and fight, or conflict. One says, إِنَّهُ لَفِى عُلْعُولِ شَرٍّ and زُلْزُولِ شَرٍّ, meaning Verily he is in a state of fighting, or conflict, and commotion, or tumult. [See also زُلْزُولٌ.]
