Full Definition

مُؤْتَجَرَ [part. n. of اُوتُجِرَ]. Mohammad Ibn-Bishr El-Khárijee, not [as is said in the S] Aboo-Dahbal, says, يَا لَيْتَ أَنِّى بِأَثْوَابِي وَ رَاحِلَتِى عَبْدٌ لِأَهْلِكَ هٰذَا الشَّهْرَ مُؤْتَجَرُ [O would that I were, with my clothes and my riding-camel, a hired slave to thy family, this month]: i. e., مَعَ أَثْوَابِي.
