مِحْلَأَةٌ

Full Definition

مِحْلَأَةٌ A currier's knife, used for shaving the inner surface of the hide: and the iron instrument, or stone, with which one shaves off the تِحْلِىء of a hide, and with which one skins. (TA voce مِحْمَرٌ, q. v.)
