Full Definition

مَسَمُّ A place of perforation, of transpiercing, or of passing through: pl. مَسَامُّ. [Hence,] مَسَامُّ الجَسَدِ or البَدَنِ The perforations [or pores] of the body through which the sweat and the exhalation of the interior thereof pass forth: المَسَامُّ [thus] applied to the مَنَافِذ [of the body] is a term of the physicians.
