مُعَارِضٌ A camel that does not go straightly in the file, or series, but takes to the right and left: or a she camel such as is termed عَلُوق; that makes a show of affection with her nose [by smelling her young one], (تَرْأَمُ بِأَنْفِهَا,) and refuses to yield her milk.
