2 [One to whom a lie, falsehood, or untruth, is told: see كُذِبَ.] Ex.
3 قَوْلٌ مَكْذُوبٌ [originally مَكْذُوبٌ فِيهِ] A false saying, or lie; [lit.] a saying in which a falsehood, or lie, is told. (M, TA, voce مَقْتُوتٌ.)
