اصبرهُIV : see 1, latter half, in four places:
2 and see 2, in two places.

def.2 [مَا أَصْبَرَهُ How patient, or enduring, is he!]
2 مَا أَصْبَرَهُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ [in the Kur ii. 170] means How bold are they [to encounter the fire of Hell]! or how bold are they to do the deeds of the people of the fire [of Hell] | or how much do they occupy themselves in doing the deeds of the people of the fire [of Hell] ! this last explanation is in the Tekmileh.

def.3 اصبرهُ also signifies He retaliated for him.

def.4 اصبر [intrans.] It was, or became, hard; syn. اِشْتَدَّ. (A. [See صَبَرٌ.])
2 He fell into what is termed أُمُّ صَبُّورٍ, i. e. a calamity: and he became in what is termed أُمُّ صَبَّارٍ, i. e. a حَرَّة.
3 He sat upon the صَبِير, i. e. the mountain.
4 It was, or became, very sour, inclining to [the flavour of صَبِر, i. e.] bitterness.
5 He ate the صَبِيرَة, i. e. the thin, round cake of bread so called.
6 And He stopped the head of a flask, or bottle, with a صِبَار, i. e. a stopper.
