اغترّVIII
He became deceived, or beguiled; made to desire what was vain, or false; بِشَىْءٍ
by a thing. [See also 10.]
2 He was negligent, inattentive, inadvertent, inconsiderate, heedless, or unprepared; he thought himself secure, and therefore was not on his guard. [See again 10.]
def.2 اغترَهُ He, or it, came to him when he was negligent, inadvertent, heedless, or unprepared; as also : or he sought to avail himself of his negligence, inadvertence, heedlessness, or unpreparedness; as also اغترّبِهِ.
