Full Definition

زَوْرَقٌ A sort of سَفِينَة [or boat]; [a skiff i. e.] a small سَفِينَة; or a small قَارِب: pl. زَوَارِقُ. Dhu-r-Rummeh says, [referring to a she-camel,] نِعْمَتْ زَوْرَقُ البَلَدِ; [making it fem., because] meaning نِعْمَتْ سَفِينَةُ المَفَازَةِ [Excellent, or most excellent, is the boat, or skiff, of the desert, or waterless desert.]
