Full Definition

رَمِدٌ , applied to water, Turbid: or altered for the worse in taste and colour, though still drinkable; as also مُرْمِدٌ .
2 And, applied to a garment, or piece of cloth, Faded; syn. فَاسخٌ; as also أَرْمَدُ [q. v.].

def.2 Also, and أَرْمَدُ , and مُرْمَدٌ , or مُرْمَدٌّ , A man affected with pain and swelling of the eye; with inflammation thereof; or with ophthalmia: fem. of the first رَمدَةٌ, and of the second , [and pl. of the second .] And عَيْنٌ رَمِدَةٌ and An eye painful and swollen, inflamed, or affected with ophthalmia: pl. of the latter عُيُونٌ .
