, Verbal.Noun تَبْيِضٌ, He whitened a thing; made it white; contr. of
سَوَّدَ. He bleached clothes. [He whitewashed a wall &c. He tinned a copper vessel or the like.] You say, بَيَّضَ ٱللّٰهُ وَجْهَهُ [lit., God whitened his face: or may God whiten his face: meaning
