2 اشعّت الشَّمْسُ The sun spread, or diffused, its شُعَاع [or beams], or its light.
3 اشعّ الزَّرْعُ The corn put forth its شَعَاع, i. e., its awn.
4 And اشعّ السُّنْبُلُ The ears of corn became compact in their grain, and dry therein.
