2 Also, or بَاكُورَةٌ الفَا كِهَةِ, The first of fruit: or the first that comes to maturity, of fruit: or fruit that hastens to come forth: pl. بَوَاكِيرُ and بَاكُورَاتٌ.
3 The pl. بَوَاكِيرُ also signifies Winds that announce [coming] rain. (A in art. بشر)
