Full Definition

تحيّرV : see 1, in six places.
2 Also It continued without motion, pouring forth its rain, and not being driven by the wind: or went not in any direction: [and so : see مُتَحَيِّرٌ.]
3 Also It continued; said of time; and in like manner it is said of a man. And بِهِ [if not a mistranscription for تَحَيَّرُوا] occurs as meaning Remain ye therein; referring to a place. And بِمَكَانٍ He alighted and abode some days in a place.
4 تحيّر بِالمَآءَ It became full of water; as also .
5 تحيّرت الجَفْنَةُ The bowl became full of grease and food; like as a watering-trough or tank becomes full of water.
