تزوّلهُV and زوّلهُ i. q. أَجَآءَهُ [He made him, or it, to come]: so says AAF, on the authority of AZ: in the copies of the K, erroneously, أَجَادَهُ.

def.2 And تزوّل, said of a young man, He attained the utmost degree of acuteness or sharpness or quickness of intellect, or of cleverness, ingeniousness, skilfulness, knowledge, or intelligence. [See also 1, near the end of the paragraph.]
