Full Definition

دَارِئٌ Coming from a place, or from a distant place, unexpectedly: an enemy showing open hostility, or coming forth into the field to encounter another in battle: and a stranger: pl. دُرَأٓءُ and دُرَّآءٌ. People say, نَحْنُ فُقَرَآءُ دُرَأٓءُ [We are poor men, come from a distant place, or strangers].
