Full Definition

زُرَّقٌ A certain bird used for catching other birds; between the [species of hawk called] بَازِى and the بَاشَق [or sparrow-hawk]: or, accord. to Fr, the white بَازِى [or falcon]: [but] it is said in the A, لَا يُقَاسُ الزُّرَّقُ بِالأَزْرَقِ [The زُرَّق is not to be compared with the أَزْرَق], which latter is the بازى: the pl. is زَرَارِيقُ.

def.2 And A whiteness in the forelock of a horse; or in the hinder part of his head, behind the forelock. And Some white hairs in the fore leg of a horse; or in his hind leg.
