سَائِغٌ , applied to beverage, or wine, and food, Descending easily [and agreeably] down the throat; [or easy and agreeable to swallow;] not choking; and أَسْوَغُ signifies the same; and so سَيِّغٌ , applied to food [&c.]; [and مُسْتَسَاغٌ , accord. to Freytag, as from the K, in which I do not find it.]
