طَلَالَةٌ

Full Definition

طَلَالَةٌ [an Verbal.Noun: see 1, last sentence but one. And, as a simple subst.,] A good, or goodly, state or condition; and a beautiful aspect, appearance, mien, or guise. And Beauty, or beauty of colour, or brightness: so in the saying, عَلَى مَنْطِقِهِ طَلَالَةُ الحُسْنِ [Upon his diction is the glow of beauty]. Accord. to As, i. q. حُسْنٌ and مَآءٌ [i. e. Goodliness, or beauty, and, app., lustre].
2 Also, and some say طُلَالَةٌ , Joy, gladness, or happiness.
