عَشِيرٌ

Full Definition

عَشِيرٌ : see عُشْرٌ, in three places.
2 Also A certain measure of land, a tenth of the قَفِيز, which is the tenth of the جَرِيب [q. v.]: pl. أَعْشِرَآءُ. (TA in art. جرب.)

def.2 And An associate; i. q. مُعَاشِرٌ.
2 And A husband; because he and his wife are associates, each of the other. يَكْفُرْنَ العَشِيرَ means They are ungrateful to the husband.
