قِرْوَاحٌ

Full Definition

قِرْوَاحٌ : see قَرَاحٌ, in two places.
2 هَضْبَةٌ قِرْوَاحٌ A [hill, or mountain, such as is termed] هضبة, that is smooth, bare of herbage, and tall, or long.
3 And نَخْلَةٌ قِرْوَاحٌ A tall palm-tree: or a tall and smooth palm-tree, of which the lower parts of the branches are bare and long: pl. قَرَاوِيحُ, and قَرَاوِحُ.
4 And نَاقَةٌ قِرْوَاحٌ, or قِرْوَاحُ القَوَائِمِ, A long-legged she-camel; described by an Arab of the desert to As as one that walks as though upon spears [i. e. as though her legs were spears].
5 And جَمَلٌ قِرْوَاحٌ A camel that dislikes the drinking with the great, or old, ones, but drinks with the small, or young, ones, when they come.
