مُسَيَّفٌ , applied to a [garment of the kind called] بُرْد, Having upon it what resemble the forms of سُيُوف [or swords]: and, so applied, having broad stripes, like the سَيْف [or sword].
2 And applied to a dirhem, of which the sides are plain, or clear of any impress or the like.
