أُسْرُبٌ , and أُسْرُبٌّ, the former mentioned by Sh, [the latter the more common,] a Pers. word, arabicized, originally أُسْرُبْ, [or أُسْرُپْ,] or أُسْرُفْ, [and in the TA سترب,] i. q. رَصَاصٌ [i. e. Lead], or آنُكٌ [which signifies the same, or black lead, or tin, or pewter].
