عُنْصُرٌ
and عُنْصَرٌ, the former of which is the more commonly known, but the latter [accord. to my copy of the Msb عَنْصر, but this I regard as a mistake of the copyist,] is the more chaste, Origin; syn. أَصْلٌ: race, lineage, or family: rank or quality, nobility or eminence, reputation or note or consideration, derived from ancestors, or from one's own deeds or qualities; syn. حَسَبٌ: pl. عَنَاصِرُ. You say فُلَانٌ
كَرِيمُ العُنْصُرِ [Such a one is of generous origin, or race, &c.,] like as you say كَرِيمُ العَصِيرِ.
