إِنْكَدَرَVII see 1.

def.2 He, or it, darted down. It is said of a bird, or of a hawk, in this sense; and of a star. So in the Kur lxxxi. 2, وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ ٱنْكَدَرَتْ: or this means, And when the stars dart down, and fall, one after another, upon the earth: or when the stars fall and become scattered.
2 انكدر عليهم العَدُوُّ The enemy poured down upon them. And انكدر عَلَيْهِ القَوْمُ The people poured upon him: or poured down upon him: or repaired towards him, scattering themselves upon him.
3 انكدر He hastened: or he hastened in some measure. You say انكدر فِى سَيْرِهِ He hastened in his pace. And انكدر يَعْدُو He hastened in some measure, running; accord. to A'Obeyd. (TA, voce اِنْصَلَتَ.)
