شَوْلَةٌ
The part that it raises of the tail of the scorpion; and so
شَوْلٌ : or, accord. to Sh, its sting, with which it strikes.
2 [Hence,] الشَّوْلَةُ Two bright stars, near together, [

ν ,] in the end of the tail of Scorpio, which are one of the Mansions of the Moon, namely, the Nineteenth Mansion; also called حُمَةُ
العَقْرَبِ. [See مَنَازِلُ القَمَرِ, in art. نزل.]
3 And شَوْلَةُ is a proper name for The scorpion; [and] so .
